About the Band

We’re a young 50’s/60’s era rock’n’roll band with a wide variety of covers and a handful of originals. Retro rock’n’roll is our primary genre, but we also do rockabilly, country, and blues, all from that time period. Our biggest influences and most of the songs we cover are from that 50’s/60’s era, though we’re also known to throw in a few songs from the 40’s, 70’s, 80’s, or even more modern songs if they’ve got that same kind of feel.

We’re well-defined by our tight three-person harmonies and bringing a vintage sound to stay true to these retro songs, though we’ll also spice up some of our covers to add our own unique touches to them. On stage, we’ll often match our outfits so we look like a band you’d see back then, and we deliver some witty stage banter between songs. Our shows will make sure you get up and dance, have fun, and maybe bring back some great memories for our older fans along the way!

The original four of us - Mike Quaglia, Peter Lee, Dan Cohen, and Gus Muscato - had tossed around the idea of a band and playing this genre starting in the summer of 2013, and officially formed in February of 2014. All of us at the time were either 16 years old, or about to be 16. We had known each other as classmates in East Bridgewater’s schools over the years, but we all became good friends not long after joining the high school’s music program. The first time we performed for an audience as Four In A Row was at an open mic night at (the now closed) Chili Head BBQ in West Bridgewater, back in April of 2014. We got our first gig offer right there on the spot to come back to Chili Head and put on a show by ourselves, and the rest is history.

Our original drummer, Gus Muscato, moved across the country in early 2020 to pursue a career out west, so we were sad to see our friend go, yet still happy for him and supportive. On top of that, with the pandemic closing things down and our events needing to be cancelled for while, we were unsure of the band’s future. Luckily, we found Adam Vitali during that time away from performing, and his quick learning of our entire repertoire got us back out and performing again once things opened up!

Some of our big performances have been a couple shows at the Big E Fair in Springfield, spots at the Scituate Heritage Days events over the years, and helping celebrate Plymouth’s and then Weymouth’s 400th Anniversary over the summers of 2021 and 2022.

Whether it’s for entertainment at a bar or restaurant, a private party, a wedding, an oldies themed event, or something else, contact us if you’d like us to perform some retro tunes for your event!
